Sophia Finemore
President
Sophie Finemore is a highly experienced professional with nearly 20 years in government relations, regulatory affairs, and strategic policy development. She is the Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs at a professional services firm, where she oversees regulatory and policy engagement. Sophie holds a Master’s degree in Economic Policy from the Australian National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from Monash University. As president of Through Road Early Learning's Committee of Management, Sophie is passionate about creating a safe and happy environment for her children, first Matilda and now Jack, to learn and thrive.
Amanda Ricci
Vice-President
Amanda is an experienced marketing and communications professional who has been a valued member of the TREL Committee for six years, including four on the Executive. She applies her skills in communication, leadership, problem-solving, and event management to her role.
Amanda’s eldest child joined TREL in 2019, and now her third child is starting in the Bilby room. She cherishes the bonds her children have formed with TREL’s long-term educators and the special memories they’ve made through the educational program.
As Vice President, Amanda is committed to ensuring TREL remains a wonderful place for children, staff, and families alike.
Hannah Fitzgerald
Treasurer
Hannah joined the TREL Committee as Treasurer in mid-2020, bringing her expertise in financial management to help support the centre’s care and educational programs. A Chartered Financial Analyst, she has a professional background in consulting and risk management within the banking and energy sectors. Hannah works full-time as a director at IFM Investors, a funds management company, while also balancing life as a parent to three active children.
Since moving to Melbourne from London in 2019, she has been thrilled to see her two boys and now her daughter thrive at TREL. In her rare free moments, Hannah enjoys running, reading, and cooking.

Bronwyn Fawcett
Committee Member
Bron is a primary school teacher with over 15 years of experience, dedicated to improving literacy education in Victorian schools and passionate about inclusive education.
As a mother of three boys born within three years, Bron and her family were thrilled to join the TREL community in 2023. They immediately felt at home, appreciating the centre’s warm atmosphere and the strong relationships between children, educators, and families.
Since joining the Committee in 2023, Bron has enjoyed supporting TREL as a place where children can learn, play, and thrive with joy.
Sophie Hinton

When Sophie returned to work after having her first child, Jackson, finding the right childcare was a top priority. She felt fortunate to discover TREL through her mothers' group and has been part of the TREL community for the past six years. Her boys have been warmly embraced, becoming part of the TREL family.
With 15 years of experience in Human Resources, Sophie brings a strong understanding of people and a passion for fostering supportive environments. She is committed to ensuring every child at TREL receives the same care, opportunities, and nurturing her own children have enjoyed.
